“I can do anything for one minute”, was the mantra of Jenna Dunham who dropped 70 pounds post-pregnancy. Jenna, a 36 year old stay at home mom, went from 203 pounds to 133 in six months. I read her inspiring story this past week online at Oxygen.mag.com. To read her story along with nine other amazing weight loss stories click HERE.
As I read her story I was reminded of the amazing power of micro-action. Micro-actions are small steps that you can take which over time can lead to big changes, like walking 1 minute at a time on a treadmill or choosing to drink water instead of soda.
Micro-actions cannot only change your body, but they can transform your business, family and more. What about taking 7 minutes to handwrite a few thank you notes every day. Imagine the impact on your clients and your relationship to them. What about taking time to ask about a team member’s family or make two additional sales calls every day. Compound these actions over weeks and substantial results occur.
In the member tools area we have two PDF’s that I encourage you to download: 100 Micro-Actions for Home and 100 Micro-Actions for work.
You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter to receive a suggested daily micro-action every morning.
What micro-action will you take today?

Thank you for this post. I was looking for a strategy to complete a few projects.
Wonderful. Thank you for commenting. I would love to hear which strategy you find most helpful. Have a great day.
Hi John,
Great article!
Micro actions are the best way to beat procrastination and to start momentum to produce change. 7 Minutes is all it takes to change course and make dreams come true.
Thanks.
